Description
• For optimal performance, pads and towels should be machine washed, dried, and inspected regularly, and stored in a sealed bag or container to prevent contamination.
• Do not use fabric softeners, detergents containing softening additives, or dryer sheets. These products severely impair the absorbency of cotton and microfiber, resulting in streaking when used to dry the surface.
• Machine-wash towels after each use in cold or warm water. Keep the water temperature below 40° C.
• Machine dry on low to medium heat; avoid high heat settings and over-drying. Microfiber typically dries in about half the time of cotton.
• Use liquid laundry detergent and avoid powdered detergents, as powder may not fully dissolve and can become trapped in towels and pads.
• To prevent scratches, inspect each towel and pad for embedded contaminants after laundering and before use.
• Keep towels and pads used on vehicles separate from those used for household or shop cleaning (such as floors and work areas). Always store and wash these towels and pads separately to prevent cross-contamination.
• To prevent lint contamination, wash microfiber towels and pads separately from cotton products.
• If dropped on the ground, discard the microfiber-it may trap particles that can scratch the finish.
• New microfiber pads become more absorbent and less prone to streaking after machine washing. Typically, just one machine.
